I noticed Disqus stopped working on several WordPress Pages since last Updates/Upgrades. If you also get Problems displaying Disqus Comments on your Pages, try to change the Rendering-Setting. You’ll find the Option within the WordPress Admin-Panel.

Go to Disqus Settings on the WordPress Sidebar and select the Tab “Advanced”. Activate the Option “Render Comments Javascript” and “Save”. Check a single Article afterwards too see, if Disqus is back in service.

I’m currently working on an WordPress Template Project. The “jump” from the “more” Tag link on the Front Page was disturbing the reading flow, when the user jumped into the full text Page (single.php).

If you also like to disable this, just add the following function to your functions.php

function remove_more_link($link) {
$offset = strpos($link, '#more-');
if ($offset) { $end = strpos($link, '"',$offset); }
if ($end) { $link = substr_replace($link, '', $offset, $end-$offset); }
return $link;
}
add_filter('the_content_more_link', 'remove_more_link');

That’s all (Source: “Digitalgefesselt.de” | thanks to Alexander Kaiser)
